A Century on the Hammack Ranch
Wright Outdoors LLC was started to revive, steward, and update our family ranch. This property has been in our family for over 100 years. Now that it is the Hammack Ranch, using the Wright family name for our hunting business was a natural choice grounded in deep pride for our heritage and land stewardship.
A long history of land stewardship is evident in the abundance of healthy wildlife found throughout the property. From hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, star gazing, and just relaxing, our little slice of Texas makes the perfect getaway.
The Story of Our Logo: Lopsided Larry
This is Lopsided Larry! Our logo inspiration was a real buck from the 2017 season. He showed up at the beginning of December with one antler, and immediately started staking his claim.
He was a medium sized, adolescent buck that refused to back down to his larger, more mature counter parts. He posed for my camera over and over, and was eventually the last buck left with hardware at the end of the season. His refusal to quit was rewarded with his own territory and doe to match. A truly beautiful low fence Texas buck. This resilience inspires everything we do at Wright Outdoors.
